Yellow Jacket serves Thai food, if you want vegetarian food, just ask the staff, even when its not on their menu they will be able to make something very tasty for you. Also this place has been sponsoring us for the second time.

MOTHER HOUSE
Motherhouse is a shop in Daimyo, it has a big swing in front of their shop. They were very happy to have our tree infront of their shop and organizing “green” events themselves too.

ZEN ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN
Mr Nakamura from ZEN Environmental Design came up with the plan to plant trees for the money we collected selling the stickers. He has been very supportive and let us print some big posters at his office.


TAO CAFE
Nobuaki of  TAO CAFE is a big fan of the Teku Teku movies and often shows them to his customers. HIs cafe is a place where you can meet all kinds of interesting people. I have shared drinks with actors from Tokyo, policemen from Hiroshima and professors from Kitakyushu. Its a very relaxed place.

TEKUTEKU VOLUNTEERS
Without this group of active  Teku Teku Volunteers this whole project wouldn’t have been possible. Thanks to everyone who helped out !


LA SPIGA
I am happy to have the best bakery in town、La Spiga,  to be our sponsor. The people from this shop have been very positive about our activities and also supported our No Junk Mail Competition. I would highly recommend to check out their breads!

YOSHIMOTO HIROE FLOWERSCHOOL
I came to Japan to work for this school, Yoshimoto Hiroe Flowerschool. They have been very supportive of our activities.

VELOTAXI
The Velo taxi has been around about the same time as Teku Teku. They have been very supportive of and often have been joining our projects. I definitely recommend to take a ride! with them!During the Teku Teku Tree event children can draw on the Velo taxi !

GREENBIRD 
Greenbird has a lot of active volunteers of all ages, they clean the streets in Tenjin on Monday and Thursday mornings from 7:30~8:30 They gather in Kego Koen. Please join them during the Teku Teku Tree- event. Greenbird has been helping us out during our Beach cleanings and many other cases.

DESIGNING 
Ide and Baba the two organizers of Designing try to promote Design in Fukuoka. For the last 4 years they have been nice enough to let Teku Teku join their event . Also this year(2010) the main station will be in IMS B2F Please visit us there.

PERPETUAL ADVENTURERS CLUB
Perpetual Adventurers’ Club This English school is located just behind the NHK building. The school has a very cosy atmosphere. The owner of the school is very much into hiking.

GREEN'S
I recently met Mr Katou of Green’s.This NPO is very active and has many young members. They combine Music / Art and Eco, in their events. During our Teku Teku Tree event Greens organized a live music show. 


TRAVEL CAFE
At the Travel Cafe they showed my Eco movies in 2008. Various eco events take place at this venue. 

KINOSHITA TREE NURSERY
Kinoshita Tree Nursery donated their tree to us ! In January we drove around for a few hours to see many trees and select the one we liked. 

FUKUOKA NOW
The history of Teku Teku (Daimyo) started with an article in the Fukuoka Now. The magazine has been very supportive of our events and has been promoting them.

VESTA
Mrs Matsutaka from Vesta is a very active woman who promotes the cardboard box composting. Vesta organized a planter workshop during our Teku Teku Tree event.

FUKUOKA SEIBU RECYCLE PLAZA
Mr Mori from Fukuoka Seibu Recycle Plaza is very positive about our Swap Meet on April 26th He will help out with picking up stuff. Also Mr Mori donated many seeds to our project.

TING
ting, a restaurant on one of Daimyo’s narrow streets. Last year ting supported us during our No Junk Mail Sticker contest also this year they are supportive again.


YUMEKICHI KIMONO
Yumekichi-KIMONO is selling second hand kimono. If you want to do something good for the environment .... buy second hand. This shop has a great feeling to it. I feel like I am in a place like Kyoto when I get in.

3 R ART
Tomoko Lipp of 3 R art has been very supportive with our project. Especially on the field of how to organize meetings and the organization she has been very helpful. Please check out their website to find out what 3R Art is all about.





GINA&PARTNERS
Gina of 株式会社Gina & Partners is a very successful business woman. She organizes various study abroad programs. For an Eco friendly program people can do a Farm stay  at a farm that generates their energy from Solarpanels. She supports our projects financially.

GAZA
French restaurant Gaza in Daimyo a great place to go for lunch or dinner. The owner of this restaurant has been joining us for various meetings and has been sponsoring our activities.

DESSERT DINER
Dessert diner is located in Roppon matsu, its a great place to eat sweets. Dessert diner was also our sponsor in 2008.

TOTAL LANGUAGE SERVICES

SMALL SPACES
From the start of Teku Teku mr Daichi from Small Spaces has been supportive. During the Teku Teku Tree event he offered us his place to use for workshops.

DAIMYO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
I just walked into Daimyo Elementary School and informed them about our Teku Teku Tree event. They have been  very positive and very helpful. They let us borrow their Rear-car and use their space as a workplace. Having the children involved in our events has been wonderful  

KONYA 2003
Konya 2023 turned an older building in a place for designers and artist to have their offices and shops. Their aim is to occupy this building till 2023. In general I think Japan lacks long term planning so I really appreciate a project like this ! During the Teku Teku Tree event they made it possible for us to have a picnic in the middle of the city.

NAKAMURA LIQUERSHOP
The owner of Nakamura Liquershop rides his bicycle to work, very Eco- Friendly ! He has always been very supportive of our projects !

VOLUME
We had quite a few meetings in Volume and the owner is very accommodating and has been very supportive for various projects and events we had in the past.

ALOHANA
Alohana is where it all started 3 years ago with Glenn telling me I should write an article for Fukuoka Now. The owner of this shop is very active, right now he is involved in a group called Daimyo Press, they are trying to revitilise Daimyo.

SGACT.2
Koji Imai has a wakeboard shop in Daimyo SGact.2 / SG Island. Together with other wakeboarders they clean Gannosu beach every first Sunday of  the month from 11:00~12:00.

THREE KINGS
Mental support from James the bar owner..... yeah, really need this, just people who believe that what your doing is a good thing. During the Teku Teku Tree event a Swap Meet was held in the Three Kings

I met Mrs Mariko Hatta at a meeting of Kankyo Kyoiku wo Kangaeru Kai she has her own group too called ながぐつ工房(Nagagutsu Kobo). Mariko has been extreemly helpful with our  project.

LOVE FM
Love FM Has been promoting our activities since the beginning, In 2008 we had a monthly talk about our Eco movies. 

NAOKI CREATIVE
Mr Kuboyama of Naoki Creative INC loves Trees, you can clearly see that at the place where we are going to plant the tree Tokirikyu. This place opened 2 years ago 

DESIGN LEAGUE
I met Mr Sato Toshihiro of Design League through an article he wrote about Daimyo. Mr Sato introduced me to many people and has been helpful in many ways.

CRITICAL MASS
Mr Ichimura used to be a bicycle messenger and started organizing the Critical Mass in 2008.  The Critical mass is a bicycle tour through the city for bicycle lanes. I really like their cause and am happy to have them as  part of our events. 

TIEMPO IBERAMERICANO
During Isla de Salsa of 2008 Santiago of Tiempo Iberamericano offered us a stand at his event to promote our group. During the Teku Teku Tree-event a Vegetarian cooking class was held at Sancho Panza  

KIBO
Ms Fumi Onaka from Center for Future Environment"kibo" has been helping out a lot by introducing me to people who can help out. And supplying vegetables for our vegetarian cooking class. 

HANA IPPAI UNDO
Mr.Yuji Sakai  and Miss. Saori Miyamoto of Fukuoka city chuou ward are organizing the  Hanna Ippai undou ( lots of flowers movement)  They were kind enough to donate many seeds to our Teku Teku Tree project.

環境共育を考える会
Fall 2008 this group, 環境共育を考える会(Kankyo Kyoiku wo Kangaeru Kai), asked me to organize a lecture. I was amazed how motivated people were to do something good for the environment and was very pleased with all the ideas they gave me. 

YUKI HIRANO
I met Yuki Hirano  in January 2008. Yuki offered to help out with designing the Teku Teku Logo. Together we have been going through a big part of the process which was definitely very interesting and fun. I admire Yuki for her patience to work with me as I keep changing my mind about things.
